So I have felt like this a couple times this week!
Tuesday I took all five of my children to Walmart to get my 10yr old's eyes checked and order him glasses. Then had to take them all to Back to School night since my husband was stuck in traffic. Ugh! What a day that was! Then today my goal was to get my van cleaned out and cleaned up before the kids and I head up north tomorrow. Who knew how many crevices and holes and places kids could spill and stick things!!!! I took all 4 back seats out and was shocked at what I found.... M&Ms, toys, a not quite empty bottle (which explains the smell from the last couple days), toys, goldfish crackers, and so much more. It took 2.5 hours to clean the kids area of the car. After spending all that time, sweating buckets, and dropping a seat on my toe I have decided that we are going to put vinyl or carpet protection tape in the back. I don't ever want to see my sweet ride that nasty ever again!!! What are your tricks for keeping your car from looking like an episode of Hoarders?????

Yet another new blog!

After spending hours swapping funny, depressing, silly, crazy, horror, and goofy stories about motherhood with my friends and family I thought it would be fun to create a blog where we can share our stories with each other.

I'll start.....
Last night after putting our boys to bed we heard a couple of them talking and jumping around and what not. So I headed up to see what was going on. I usually try to be as stealthy as possible to get a good idea of what is really going on. So last night I snuck up on two of my sons looking at a book by their nightlight and talking about crazy stuff. I got about 6 inches away and stood there for a second. Then I leaned down and said "What are you doing?" I swear my 8 year old jumped at least 3 ft in the air and started wailing and crying uncontrollably! I was trying so hard not to laugh at his reaction while telling them to get back into bed and go to sleep. The minute I left the room I lost it. Who knew that scaring the pants off my kids would be more effective than anything else?!
